Pamphlet #42
Héctor Cornillot
When I hear a plane, my skin crawls, though I know the Cuban dictatorship
doesn't feel the heat of the Cuban insurrection with more consistency and
spontaneity because we don't believe in a: no- contaminated future for Cuba,
and not for lack of motivation.
The future of Cuba is Democracy, as we live it in these United States; with the
insurance companies collecting more money than the governments, to guarantee
rights and properties; paying one third for this and investing the difference in
creating public and private companies. That is a possible future of a free Cuba
and can be our war hymn: The democracy that functions in these United States.
Without the insurrectional process Cuba will not be free. If we want a free and
independent Cuba; rich as we live in these United States, we have to be bold and
violate the law. No enemy can stop the development of a nation's good will to
be sovereign in our own land. Our law, is to personalize our revolutionary
history, we came to represent in this exile. This exile experience's teaches us
that we can develop in Cuba, a society as it develops in this country.
Prudential started insuring life for a nickel a week around the 19something.
The defeat of the 26 of July general's dictatorship is the only dignified end of
this page of Cuban history; the instauration of a free democratic society, our
patriotic legacy. Cuba is Cubans responsibility, and Cubans throughout the
years have maintained the flame of the insurrection lighted within our
possibilities, let's believe in possible, new possibilities this year.
