Pamphlet No. 40
Is it worthwhile to change your life and embark on a
patriotic/terrorist adventure, as the enemies of Cubans conquering their own
freedom can call it, when once and again, warlike actions have not lighted the
desire to overthrow the dictator among Cubans?
Warlike actions are the spark, but to believe and make believe that democracy,
as we live it in United States, will make Cuba, free, and prosperous, is what
will light the desire for a patriotic change. Particularly, when nobody, not
living in the United States understands it, because in other countries they have
a clownish copy of the reality we live here in United States. It's is for the
exiled to fight for our freedom. Someone has to do it. Cuban/Americans are
exempt from this responsibility, taken as truthful, their native, or adopted
pledge to this nation, that so many honors have gathered for the Cubans in exile
in general.
Do we want to live in this type of democracy in Cuba? This is the Cuban
challenge: To make it possible to share this type of democracy in Cuba. It is
our responsibility and we can do it. If the desire for insurrection has not
lighted among Cubans in the past, it's because we have failed the make ourselves
clear: We want a democracy in Cuba, like the one we live in these United
States, and we want the right to do it ourselves. To live in Cuba, in a
democracy like United States, the government of the United States cannot
intervene in this change. Has to be the product of the historic/revolutionary/evolutionary
process of the Cuban nation. "At our own loyal knowing and understanding of
things".
This worthy path has been walked by many Cubans in contemporary history,
without obtaining democracy's triumph in Cuba. Mianly because of our ignorance
of the United States democracy, and then, by the warlike path the 26 of July
generals have taken Cuba.
Cubans can obtain that democracy truly becomes a source of freedom and
prosperity in our nation. Is it worth it to change your life and embark on a
patriotic/terrorist adventure upon the dictatorial regimen in Cuba?
